
Garbage Removal takes place each Tuesday, weather permitting. In the case of bad weather, garbage removal will take place as soon as possible.
Bulky Items Pick Up Day is the first Wednesday of each month. Place your junk by the side of the road before 9AM and the garbage truck will make a run through the community to pick it up. Should there be a snowstorm on that day, it will be delayed until the snow is cleared up or to the following day. If you are unsure of what you can have picked up, give us a call at the Town Office.
The Port Blandford Waste Disposal Site is open to the public on Saturdays from 9:00-3:00. Waste must be pre-sorted prior to arrival.

Prohibited Waste The Town will not accept the following waste:Asbestos, fish waste(commercial, septic/sewage sludge, chemical waste, tires, oil/gasoline, propane tanks (20lbs or more).
User Fees No tipping fees will apply to residents and businesses of Port Blandford. Any regular outside user will continue to pay annual fees. Tipping Fees will apply to one time/part time users, such as cabin/cottage owners living outside the municipal boundary.
Special Circumstances Businesses in the Food and Beverage industry will have more access to the waste disposal site. They may obtain a key at the Town Office, and are required to dispose of waste properly. Failure to do so may result in a loss of privilege.
Privileges may be granted to building contractors, renovators, demolishers etc. only after contacting the Town Office. Waste must be separated and disposed of properly. Failure to do so may result in a loss of privilege.
